Hi There! Thanks Tiff

I am assuming you don't have the Touring. If so then you have an 8th seat that is in between the two Captains chairs.

Unfortunately, it does not have a top tether so once your children are forward-facing and still in a harnessed seat you will not be able to put a child there. Now this you will not have to worry about for a looong time, since (for instance) my two children ages 2 and 3 are both still rear-facing.

Sooo....From now until your twins are well into their Toddler years you may be able to use that seat. The problem is the seat is extremely narrow. Your best option for getting 3 across is going to be probably a SunShine Kids Radian. Meaning, you maybe able to put the Britax BV on an outboard seat and a Radian in the other Captains chair, and one in the 8th seat. The problem with this is that there are only 2 places to safely rear-face tether a seat. Since the Britax and Radians can all rear-face tether then one seat will not be tethered.

To be honest..I have had 3 across in the second row, and find putting the middle child in very difficult. So, what I have found easiest is to remove the 8th seat, and slide the passenger side Captain's chair over to the middle. Then put the 3rd child in the 3rd row. The best possible place would be middle third row, but parent convenience comes into play at some point. As long as they are properly restrained, and the carseat is properly installed, the third row passenger in any seat is going to be uber safe.
