I KNOW THIS THREAD IS OLD BUT I JUST WANTED TO SHARE SOME INFO ABOUT CARSEATS IN A TOYOTA XTRACAB. I HAVE THE 2000 MODEL XTRACAB WITH THE LITTLE TRAY THAT POPS OUT. I WAS ABLE TO PUT THE
PEG PEREGO IN WITH THE BASE, BUT IT WAS A TIGHT FIT AND THE FRONT SEAT WOULD NOT LOCK IN PLACE. UNLESS I LIFT THE CARSEAT A LITTLE BIT, SO I CAN PUSH BACK THE FRONT SEAT AND LOCK IT PLACE, AND MOVED IT ALL THE WAY FORWARD.
I WAS LUCKY TO HAVE MY DAD'S EXTRA CAR TEMPORARILY. NOW MY DAUGTHER IS ALMOST 10 MONTHS OLD. I WAS WONDERING IF ANY
FORWARD FACING CARSEATS, WOULD WORK OKAY IN BACK OF MY 2000 XTRACAB.
I ALSO FOUND THIS LINK ON NISSAN FRONTIER WEBSITE (SNUGKIDS). THE 2005-2008 KING CAB BACK SPACE AND 1995-2004 TOYOTA TACOMA XTRACAB HAVE SIMILAR LIMITED SPACE ON THE BACK. I WONDER IF THE CARSEATS MENTIONED ON THE SNUGKIDS WOULD FIT IN THE TACOMA.
