The Fisher Price Safe Voyage Booster is very narrow (13.5") and I've read in other place people have been able to use them as the middle seat in a 3 across. In addition, the seat is designed and manufactured by Britax, which is nice. Supposedly there's some Britax model (not available in America) that is the original version of this booster.

	Booster Seat A booster seat raises your child up so that the car's lap and shoulder belts fit correctly. The lap belt should fall across the upper thighs. The shoulder belt should go across the middle of the shoulder and chest. A booster seat is used for older children up to about 80 pounds.
