The American Academy of Pediatrics & Safe Kids urge parents to keep kids RF until the maximum weight or height limit of their convertible seat, which may be at least a year or more after baby's 1st birthday.

The seat you have generally works well RF, but the majority of kids outgrow it's harness FF long before they are truly ready for booster use & as a booster, this seat pales in comparison to more dedicated options. This seat will also likely expire before kiddo is able to safely ride without a booster. I personally would only use this seat RF and/or only as a spare.

Have you checked the database yet to see which carseats fit your vehicle?
