Newborns require the full 45 degree angle, but since she is slightly older, you don't have to have that full 45 degree recline (unless there is a medical condition). You can lean the seat slightly up, which may give you some more room. As long as her head isn't flopping forward when she is sleeping, it is between 30-45 degrees, then you have the perfect recline for her.
