I have the Chicco Keyfit infant seat for my son who is about to outgrow it but we are having another child who will be using it thereafter. The problem we are having is that when we pull the straps tight, one side always ends up looser than the other. I have checked the back of the seat where the strap splits into the two sides and it isn't catching anywhere. When both sides are slack, they start out even, but when we pull it tight, the right strap always ends up being too loose and if I try to tighten it, it of course makes the other side way too tight. Has anyone else ever heard of this problem with this carseat or any other seat? Any suggestions on how to fix it? I am thinking of calling the manufacturer as well. Thanks for your help!
