My son is almost to the maximum height and weight for his infant seat, so we are starting to look for a convertible seat. We have a small budget for a new seat. I've been trying to research different seats and it seems that a lot of the cheaper seats have hard to adjust straps and getting them tight while the baby is in the seatis difficult. He is almost 9 months and has been in the 90% for height since he was 4 mo and at least the 50% for weight, so it has to fit bigger kids. We have a Ford Focus and a Toyota mini-van. We were hoping to buy one and switch it between cars but if we have to, of course we will buy two seats, one for each car.
