I just looked at my
KF and can't get the same problem to occur. Each strap is independent of one another...they only join at the metal peice(spilter plate).
Have you taken the harness system completely out of the seat? If you've put the straps back in incorrectly I can see where the problem may occur. There looks to a be a specific way the hip straps must be threaded through the holes.
