Congratulations! I just wanted to add that our son was in the Graco SafeSeat1 behind the passenger seat in our Ford Expedition until about 9 months old when he was close to outgrowing it by height. We now have him in the Recaro Signo(rear-facing) and it does give us an extra couple inches between the seat and car seat.
