Most children never have a problem with the one position crotch strap---just the parents.

I actually prefer the BLVD over the decatlon--you won't need the infant insert in either seat and I prefer the LATCH bars with 2 individual straps over 1 strap.

And no, you can't buy the headwings and modify a carseat.

	LATCH LATCH stands for Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren.
