A lot of convertibles do not fit infants very well. The only one that would fit a newborn...possibly...would be the Cosco Scenera. The bottom slot is about 7" AND you need to make absolutely sure that the recline is at 45 degrees. If it were any higher, there is the possiblity of the child's head flopping forward and cutting off their airway.
