You're going to have to go and try different seats out. BRU and TRU will let you take seats out to the truck to let you do a test install. Be patient....when installing them...fully install them, make sure you can get the correct recline. With newborns, esp twins who may be preemies, it's VERY important to get a full 45* recline in order to keep their airways open.
I suggest you start by reading your truck manuals section on installing child restriants. Then test out some seats....my suggestions:
Chicco KeyFit,
Graco SafeSeat 1,
Graco Snugride,
Combi Connection or
Centre. With all of these seats you can leave the handle up, with the exception of the
Combi seats---their handle MUST be left up.
Evenflo,
Peg Perego, Cosco, Safety First, Eddie Bauer and Maxi Cosi require that the handle be down in the car...and that can take up space...and the Evenflo infant seats require 1.5" between it and the seat in front of it.
The dealer is not likely to be of any help to you honestly.
