Hello...
My son is now 9months old and 19lbs4oz and 28in. He is currently in a graco snugride (RF). I want to get a convertible car seat for him and am considering a britax (roundabout, diplomat or marathon) or perhaps a recaro (signo or como) or radian. I have searched online, but cant tell if any or all of these will fit in my car -- I have a 1999 Lexus ES300 (no latches/tethers). Ideally I would like to have the car seat in the middle, but if that's not possible then he will sit in back behind the passenger seat. I know that for the Britax's, the marathon would last longer but I am not sure about the fit in my car. And I am relatively new to knowing about the recaro and radian, but it seems like a compact seat that would last for a while too. Of course I am all about a bargain, but if I can get a seat that will last for quite sometime, I am fine with spending the $$$ for safety. Anyone have words of wisdom for me?
