The major difference with older vehicles is that the seat may be too contoured to correctly fit the majority of carseats or it may have seatbelt buckles that are forward of the bight -- the vehicle seatback & bottom cushion meet -- I don't know for sure with this specific vehicle.... Just something to look out for (remember to call the toll free customer service numbers for assistance until you can make an appointment with your local CPST)

The risk of injury from projectiles would probably increase A non-standard tether point for a forward-facing seat could rip out during a crash. The hard metal hook on the tether itself & possibly hard/sharp pieces of the vehicle could then fly with crash force speed at your family

Just follow the instructions & make sure the carseat is locked in securely + correctly.
