Hi Kerry! I wanted to let you know that I did receive your email, but have been busy with family vacation + I just returned from the Eastern Regional safety conference.... As always, so long as the safety seat meets the current applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards this unique solution could be an answer -- however, I do have major reservations over the possibility of increased risk of misuse (I imagine this would be much more difficult to achieve a correct install with less than 1" movement at the belt path) Also, parents who travel or who utilize certain types of daycare services would likely need spare seats, even moreso than the average parent since this seems rather cumbersome for frequent uninstalling/reinstalling. Beyond these issues, which are based on guesses merely from viewing pictures, I cannot give any more detailed feedback, but I would love to get my hands on a seat to test out

The best carseat fits the child, fits the vehicle & is always used correctly....
Get your seat checked.
