Rear facing until 30 pounds?? I always heard that they can be forward facing once the child has reached 20 pounds AND is over 1 year. Since my 9-month-old daughter is already 20 pounds, I was going to put her in forward facing when she turns one. Is that not safe?

	Rear Facing Car Seats A rear-facing seat is one in which the infant faces the back of the car. Always install a rear-facing seat in the back seat of your car. This is the safest position for an infant. NEVER place a rear-facing seat in the front seat of a vehicle with passenger airbags.
