If kiddo will not be reverted back to RF, then the Regent should be a good choice, although I'm not sure how the new install recommendations work with your vehicle.

Also, it's at least as wide as the Apex, but much heavier & not intended for travel purposes (we use the Husky/Regent as our primary seat with the Apex as a spare)
