| Hello! We need to get my 5.5 year old daughter a booster. After doing some research, I have decided to stick with Britax and get either the Parkway or the Monarch. I went on the Britax website and it seems like they have both been discontinued. I am wondering if anyone has insight as to why. They both got high ratings. It seems websites still are selling them. Does anyone have input as to which one is better or the differences between the two. Thank you! |

| I don't know why they discontinued either. Just business, I guess. ![]() ![]() Britax representatives show that the Monarch tested slightly better than the Parkway during their own in-house side impact crash testing. However, the Parkway is the best booster I know of for tight 3 across squeezes. The Parkway also had cover options that were so much more fun than the Monarch The good thing is that if you can find either one, it's likely to be much more affordable now even if it does have a plain cover. If you find both options & they're both affordable, then I would try to let kiddo choose between them (unless you might use it in tight 3 across configurations: in which case I would automatically choose the Parkway)
