| We are looking at purchasing a 2008 Nissan Altima. I went to the Nissan website and downloaded the Snug Fit Child Safety Seat Fit Guide (link below) Our Britax was listed as being ok for rear facing but not ok for front facing. I have contacted Nissan about this but they directed me to the manufacturer even though I said THEY had put together this guide with their 'experts' I do not want to assume that they just did not check the seat front facing in the car and that is why it is not checked off. We checked the seat rear facing at the dealer and it seemed fine. We didn't even think to check it front facing as we assumed it would work. I will be going to the dealer to check it front facing but I am a little worried now that if their experts cannot recommend the seat front-facing then maybe we should be looking at a different vehicle. Has anyone seen this guide or own a 2007 or 2008 Altima with a Britax Marathon seat? Any help would be appreciated |
