Default Britax

My son is turning 1 yr old in July and I need to get a new seat (Britax) for our HONDA ACCORD.
He is a big boy, now weighing 12 kg.
Do you think this seat would be recommended and fit well with our car?

Rada

12 kg = about 26.4 pounds? I don't have my conversion info

Are you in Canada?
What year is your Accord?

Make sure kiddo still fits the current carseat both by weight & height....

IME, all Britax seats fit Hondas, but certain model years are tricky -- if you have seatbelt buckles that are forward of the bight, it will be difficult or even impossible to fit any carseat correctly Here's an example of a seatbelt buckle forward of the bight, taken in my 1997 Civic:

Forgot to ask which carseat you currently have? If you don't have Britax locally, but kiddo has already reached either the weight or height limit of your current carseat then you should immediately get any affordable carseat that does work! (I'm guessing you might have an infant seat, but very few 1 year olds fit infant seats by length/height).

I *think* the 2000 Acord shouldn't be a problem & the Odyssey is generally quite easy to fit almost any carseat Just remember that while we would ideally like a perfect center seat installation, the safest place is whichever backseat location provides the most secure correct install according to both carseat + vehicle manuals -- if the carseat moves more than 1" at the belt path in the center, then outboard may be more ideal, assuming the carseat moves less than 1" at the LATCH/belt path....
