| I need to buy an infant to toddler (convertible) car seat because my son has outgrown the infant one and is under a year old so he needs to be rear facing. I like the Britax Marathon but am not sure if it will fit well in my 2006 Acura TL. Please help! |

| If you have a Babies R Us near you, or a 'better baby store' that sells carseats, you can probably try them out in your car. If it's a 2 door car, you might want to go with a shorter seat like the Cosco Scenera, Britax Roundabout, or Evenflo Triumph. If it's a 4 door car and your infant seat is fitting comfortably back there (ie, you aren't crushed in the front seat in front of it), then a larger seat, like a Marathon/Decathlon/Boulevard (Britax) or Safety 1st Intera or Sunshine Kids Radian would probably be fine. Also, I'm glad you know you need a rearfacing seat! Check out www.cpsafety.com to see why rearfacing well beyond a year old is the safest way to ride (up to the limits of the convertible, 30, 33, or 35 pounds and head even with the top of the seat... usually age 18-36 months). Good luck finding a seat that works! ![]() |
