Default Problem....

Ordered Recaro Signo, not available until late August to ship. Do you like the Radian 80? Alli is 22 lbs. so I need a seat now, can't wait until August. What do you think?

Unless she or baby's parents are obese, I'd just get the Radian65 -- it fits as long for height & you can prop rolled up receiving blankets next to her *after* buckling for added support.... I do like that the Radian seats tether RF & have Safe Stop, which is similar to Britax Rip Stitch: both RF tether & Safe Stop (or Rip Stitch) further enhance ride down to reduce crash forces upon baby.

The most important factor is always simply that you can use the seat CORRECTLY. The cheapest most bare bones seat is safer than any fancy high cost seat if the former is used correctly & the latter is misused.

The Radian does have a great learning curve for installation & is actually incompatible with more vehicles than Britax.

Another option is the new Evenflo Triumph Advance which is already available at some Babies-R-Us locations. It does not tether RF, but it fits small babies & bigger kids well + it has super easy to use features
