Default best car seat for mustangs?

Have a 06 mustang - any families out there have the new body style mustang? And if so, what car seat do you use?

I'm sorry, I don't have any experience with the Mustang But, I'll ask some colleagues....

What is your child's age, weight, height?
What is your budget?

The best thing you could do in the meantime is just try out various seats at Babies-R-Us or BuyBuyBaby (these are the places that usually let parents test carseats out inside their own vehicles).

Thanks Tyler -- I lost this thread in the new forum updates

The only solid information I received was for older models, but The Carseat Lady (who has checked thousands of seats) said the Cosco Scenera or Safety 1st Uptown & Britax Roundabout/Diplomat could work out well....

I worked at Babies R Us and from experience the ONLY seat that Ive found was the Britax Roundabout or Diplomat. Even the infant seats didnt install well. Due to the fact that your back seat is really a 2-seater I would strongly suggest the Diplomat due to its side impact protection. Good luck!

Curious: are/were you a CPST?

If not, I really worry about giving visitors the impression that sales staff are qualified to give safety advice The majority are not a reliable resource for life saving information (the majority often give outrageously incorrect info)

If so, I wonder if you could add CPST/CPST-I under your name?

No I am not a CPST. I have had all the training needed but while I was employed by BRU I was not ALLOWED to become certified due to liability. I only recently stopped working there and am looking at becoming certified now. Kinda ticked me off that I couldnt then, but I understand their liability issues.
Thanks for catching how that sounded though. No Babies R Us employee can or should help you install your carseat. I always sent customers to numerous CPSTs in town.
