Britax Marathon RF in Hyundai Sonata??

I have a 2006 hyundai sonata and an almost 6 month old baby boy who is approaching the limits of his SnugRide (he's about 19.5 lbs). I have been researching and really think that I want the Marathon. Does anyone have experience in getting it in a Sonata, rearfacing? I can't find the info here.

If it won't work, I am open to suggestions. It will mostly ride in my car. (Occasionally in my mother's minivan) We do travel by air alot with Mason in his own seat, so that's something to consider too.

Another tech I know is coveting a Sonata for her Marathon -- she has successfully & rather easily installed the Marathon RF in a Sonata before For ease of travel through the airport, I'd considerd the GogoKidz....

Also, make sure baby has at least 1" between the top of the head & inside edge of the shell/frame: if not, then you need a new seat ASAP.

Glad to know the Sonata and Marathon are a good match!

I, too, am convinced that I'll need the Gogo Travelmate. but I am going to need the Marathon first. The travelmate is going to have to wait!

Mason still has the space for his head... but the Marathon has been written into this month's budget. So we'll be retiring the snugride soon. They just grow so fast!
