| Help!! My daughter is 5 months old but is over the height restriction for the Infant SnugRide she is currently in (which I must say weighs a ton, but fits perfectly in my car). My problem is this, we purchased an Eddie Bauer® Deluxe Convertible Car Seat , this seat has several mixed reviews, however I HATE IT!! It fits great in my husbands Daily Driver (a 94 Corolla) but is very unsafe in my suburban! I have been doing quite a bit of research but cannot find anyone who can tell me what worked for them, and the compatability system on this site doesn't offer a 2003 option, which makes my decision harder as the 03 was when they changed everything with these trucks! Any suggestions or testimonials from people of what worked in their 03 and up suburban or yukon xl's? Please let me know! |

| Tell us *how* it fits bad... does it not recline enough? Is it wobbly at the head or the foot? (wobbling all over at the top of the seat isn't dangerous, but it should be plenty tight where the LATCH goes through it). Can you adjust the harness easily? Are you trying to get it to that VERY 'recline so this line is horizontal' marker (you don't have to do that, more upright is fine for an older baby). Have you found a local tech that can help you out? www.seatcheck.org might have one listed. Does your seat have a base on it (Eddie Bauer is the trim level, not exactly the model of the seat...is it a 3-in-1 or Enspira? They name their seats so funnily!), you can take the base off and try for a better install if it does...the manual will show how. I know for sure a Britax will fit, if none of these suggestions help (though really, Cosco seats tend to fit fairly well in most cars). ![]() |
