| I am having my daughter's father pruchase a Regent for her but he has a 98 Civic and says there isen't LATCH in that car.. is it something you can get installed? Is there a way to install a Regent and still be safe? Maybe another carseat recomendation? We have her in a Regent in mine and my husbands vehicle but I want her to be safe when visiting her dad as well. Right now he just has her in a cheapie Costco booster seat. Thanks for any advice! |

| My Husky (older version of the Regent) installs great in our 1997 Civic Hx 2 door using the long/reverse belt path, which is only allowed on the Regent for kids under 40 pounds -- if his seatbelt stalks are forward of the bight (as shown below) then no carseat will fit his vehicle except for the Cosco Apex in the center: which does not keep kids harnessed as long.... What is your child's age, weight, height If the Regent or Apex are not feasible, a more dedicated booster like the Britax Monarch, Compass B510 or Graco Airbooster would be more ideal than the current booster (because Britax + Compass perform more extensive crash testing & the Airbooster is very similar to these boosters > visit my webpage "Preschool -- Preteen" for details, scroll down)![]()
