| My son just turned 2 and measured 38 inches tall, weighing 32 lbs. I'm concerned he's going to be too tall soon for his Britax Roundabout. He has a really long torso, so his ears are nearing the top of the seat. Because he's so young, I do not want to move him into a booster seat. Is my only option to buy another (expensive) car seat with higher height/weight limits? I bought 2 roundabouts for him and his twin sister and now an kicking myself I didn't buy a marathon or other model that we could use even longer. Please help with any suggestions! Thanks! |

| My son (who is now 7) was in a similar situation. We went thru about 4 car seats, none of which I felt was as good as a Britax. When Britax came out with the Regent last year, we got two, one for my daughter, who is 3 and one for my 7 yr old, as he can use it for at least another year. He was in a booster, a half booster, etc. and an Eddie Bower 5 pt harness that converted into a shoulder harness. None of these seemed as secure as the Britax. When we put him in the Regent, he thanked us so much because he said he felt safer and it was much more comfy. It's still a 5 pt harness, which I feel better about. Just my 2 cents. (Also, tinyride.com usually has the best prices and they ship for free) |

| 4 years old is the minimum recommendation to let children ride in a booster ... my website should hopefully help explain (page "Preschool -- Preteen") What is your vehicle year, make, model & your budget?

After paying for 2 Roundabouts, I would rather not have to shell out a ton for a 2nd car seat, but his safety comes first. |
