Default infant car seat for 2001 eclipse possible?

Hi,

I'm looking for an infant car seat for a 2001 eclipse. This is before the latch system so I need to use the shoulder seat belts. I tried the graco metrolite but the base moved sideways too much no matter how much I tightened it. Does anyone know of an infant car seat that woul work?

thanks.

Just for clarification: Metrolite is the stroller ... the carseat in that travel system is a Snugride

Do you have leather? Did you engage the seatbelt manual locking mechanism? Have you called your local CPST?
