Smile Britax Regent 06 Forester

any experience on the B. Regent fitting in the Forester? or another similar size car? i need a booster/bigger kid seat that still has straps but less of the "bucket" style seat! a straight back and no base to the seat. the regent seems like a good fit but im not sure if our car is too small...people keep saying how huge the regent is! thanks!

How old is the child who will be using it? Height and weight?

The database only shows an entry for a Husky (same as Regent) in a 1999 Forester. Not sure how different the older models are.

The Regent is large, but it isn't THAT large. ) It's about 21.5 inches wide, so about 2 inches wider than the regular Britax seats and the Evenflo Triumph, about 3.5 inches wider than your "average" convertible seat. It is tall, but since it sits flat on the vehicle seat it doesn't stick up too high at all. We had ours in a 1991 Honda Accord (pretty small vehicle) and it worked just fine.
