Default Vehicle for Five Car Seats

Help! We have three children, ages 7,5 and 2 who are in a booster, booster and five point Graco and are expecting twins! We cannot find a vehicle (preferably a minivan) that is wide enough to fit the two boosters and the five point Graco across the back seat. Any ideas? We currently have a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country. Thank you

You might want to try the Honda Pilot. I know it's not a minivan, but my friend bought it b/c she could fit 3 car seats across in it. However, the back row would be a bit of a pain to buckle 3 into...but if the older kids are back there and the little ones in the front row it should be okay. Just a suggestion. Congrats on the twins!

You should try the Toyota Sienna. We're able to fit two large boosters and 1 carseat in the back. Good luck with the twins!! You'll have your hands full

Oops. The Pilot wouldn't have nearly enough trunk space for all the baby gear.

Default Boosters at fault?

perhaps it is a better solution to purchase new car seats. The Fisher-Price (actually Britax) Safe Voyage booster can go as thin as 14", but can get slightly bigger for bigger kids. It would also be worth looking around in the forward-facing seats area, since some are horribly bulky and often are the "bad fit" culprits on this board!

Maybe you don't have to abandon your van...save a few bucks toward college!

Congrats on the big news.
