What do you all think of the CARES system? I realize it's not ideal, that I'd be better off with a car seat, but please bear with me. I'm not negligent or lazy, but right now I'm desperate. I have to fly with
dd (2 yrs, 29-30 lbs) in March, and we have to change planes in a rather large airport. The last time we did this (it's just her and me, so no one to help) was an absolute nightmare that practically had me in tears by the time we reached our destination. Messing with the stoller AND the car seat AND the carry-on was just more than I could handle (then she wet her pants twice in one layover). I have arthritis, and last time we did this, I was on my medication, which works very well, but now being pg, I can't take it. So heavy equipment (even the Gogo kids, which looks awesome, looks like too much for me) is just going to be a nightmare. I really thought the Go would be my best option and was crushed when I saw I couldn't use it on a plane--to the point where I considered calling
Safeguard and chewing out an engineer (okay, not really, but I was seriously bummed). My mom will be picking us up and has a Scenera, so having a seat on the other end is not a problem. Has anyone used CARES, or is it in a category with things like the Mighty Tite, that are legal to sell but no one should ever use?
