| We're looking for a toddler car seat for our 2000 volvo s70 that does not have latch. This website recommends the seat we currently have for our other car, a britex marathon which we know doesn't work because the volvo's seatbelt straps are too thick to close the snaps on the seat. So, any suggestions? Our child is 3 years old, 30 lbs and 37" tall if that helps. Any others had problems with the volvo seatbelt straps being too thick to be useable? |

| If your seatbelts lock, you don't have to use the Marathon's lockoffs. You can tell if your seatbelts lock by pulling the seatbelt all the way out, then as you slowly let it back into the vehicle, you will hear is racheting *click, click, click*. That means you have a switchable seatbelt and have now switched it to lock.
