Default SEAT FOR 2005 MUSTANG

Trying to find a car seat that will fit (forward facing) my Mustang. I have a 1 year old granddaughter that we want to take with us on short around town trips. Back seat latch or belt, we need recommendations please.

Thanks

Since she's only a year old, she needs to be rear facing still. AAP, NHTSA and Safe Kids all reccomend that children stay RF to the limits of convertible seats(30-35 pounds, depends on the brand).

The Cosco Scenera is a decent seat for less than $45 at Wal-Mart...just make sure to get the 5 pt harness model, not the the one with the big plastic bar. It tends to fit well in many cars too.

Susan

I agree with Susan. Another idea is the Evenflo Triumph Advance. This seat will likely last her the longest. It runs from $130-$150. It will RF to 35lbs, then FF in a harness to 50lbs. I know the Mustang has pretty sloped back seats, so the best thing could be to head to a store and try a few out.

Thank you for your input. I'll keep your commrnts in mind, we already have a Scenera in the Escape. Might be a difficult fit.
