| We took our bases to the state police today to have them install our infant bases for the snugride. My husband has a Jeep Grand Cherokee and it fit perfectly. I have a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe and it does not fit snug. The deisgn of the buckles are creating the base to slide left to right. Anyone else have that problem or have a suggestion on making the base fit tight? thanks! |

| you dont have locking latchplates, but belts that lock at the retractor. you will need to pull the seatbelt all the way out (this will cause the seat belt to lock as it retracts) and then thread it though the base. pull tight and you should have a great fit. Also, you can use your LATCH, which could be potentially much easier than the seatbelt, but i know that the anchors are sometimes difficult to get to in hyundais (atleast in the tucson's) but it will probably end up being much easier for you to tighten. |
