Need to put a seat in a convertible

Hello! My husband has a 2000 BMW 323 convertible. I just recently went back to work, and my husband is going to handle daycare drop-offs of our 2.5 year-old son. I have the Britax Marathon in my car, and when we installed it behind the passenger seat in my husband's convertible to see how it would fit, it left absolutely no leg room for our son! Not good, so we know now that buying a second Marathon isn't an option. What we need is a convertible (or toddler) seat that isn't as deep from front to back as the Britax. Any recommendations?

So far as I've been taught, we have no recorded cases of leg injury from RF. In fact leg injury is more likely when FF. So is internal decapitation

Kids are flexible. Show him with encouraging happiness how fun it will be to cross his legs or prop his heels up on the vehicle seat or dangle his feet over the edge or tuck his knees under his chin.

Remember that kids in Scandinavia routinely ride RF until almost #50. Sure, their seats are designed a little differently, but toward the end of their RF time they still have to get a little creative
