2006 Dodge Ram Ext. Cab

I am looking for a car seat for a 2006 Dodge Ram extended cab. It will be RF for now. It will be in the rear center seat which is not a full seat so the car seat needs to be one that doesn't require 100% of the seat to be under it.

We don't use this vehicle much so it doesn't need to be top of the line as far as comfort but it needs to be top of the line safe!

If so, then the next step is simply to test carseats out yourself to find those that meet your budget & are easiest for you to use correctly. Once you've chosen a seat bring it & your child as well as the carseat + vehicle manuals with you to an appointment with your local CPST.

Also, while comfort is not the only factor it can greatly enhance child cooperation, which usually has the indirect effect of reducing driver stress thus reducing the risk of crashing in the 1st place.
