Post 2001 VW Jetta help

Just wondering about a convertible seat that will fit in myJetta without the front seat having to go all the way up. It is for my 8 month old son so it has to be rear facing, we also have another car seat in the back for our 2.5 year old daughter.
Not concerned about price but cheaper would be better if possible.
Thank,
Lara

With your ds being 8 months old, you do NOT have to have that full 45 degree recline that infant carriers are set at. with a convertible seat, you can have it between 30-45 degrees as long as there are no medical conditions that cause him to have poor upper body/poor head control. Evenflo will NOT allow you to 'brace' it against the front seat.

If you had an infant carrier in your backseat, you will likely not have an issue with a RFing convertible back there. I suggest heading to a babies r us and trying them out in your vehicle.
