Default Marathon for an F-150?

I am in the process of searching for a Britax that will fit the back seat of my 2003 (extended cab) F-150. My wife and I just purchased the Marathon for her Acura TSX and love it. We were hoping to get the Marathon for my truck. What are your thoughts Papooses?

I see more than a few people have at least looked at this thread. Has anyone got any input?

Hi,

See Search: CarSeatData.org - user ratings of carseats fitting into cars

You'll have to scroll to the bottom for the current year info. I'm not sure what year Ford changed body styles, but several have had OK-Good success fitting Boulevard's in the back seat (which are larger then the Marathon). If you click on the listing, there will be notes about the install. Seems center is best because of limited room. Either way, make sure to have it checked and/or installed by a CPS Tech, just to be safe!

I'm not savvy with the interior of the TSX, but I did manage to fit our Britax Wizard/Boulevard in a 2001 F150 extended cab -- my child was over 1 year old & could sit quite upright, though & I needed to move the front passenger seat forward.... (I sat in the back with kiddo)

What age is your child? If your child is young enough to require the full 45 degree recline angle then you may need to look into disabling the passenger airbag to insta0ll the seat in front (all other passengers would then need to sit in the back
