Newbie Radian?

Hi,

I have a '01 Infiniti Qx4 and am looking at the Radian 80. I currently have a Britax Decathlon now installed in my hubby's car. I am assuming my suv is pretty much like your xterra and wanted to know how you like it?

My daughter is 10 mths 22lbs and 29 in. She is taking after my hubby so far - he is 6'2 while I'm 5'2. I think I would like to keep her rear facing until 33lbs. I am looking for a seat she can grow in and that is easy to transfer between vehicles. My friends and I take the kids to the zoo and other trips and need to be able to take the seat from my vehicle to install in their vans pretty quickly and vice versa. Would you recommend the Radian or another Britax.

We will be traveling to PA or MD to try the Radian in the suv.

While the Radian 80 has a very high weight capacity, the seat width is only 10" vs. the Regent's 14" seat. The Britax Regent may be a bit wider, but it is very bulky, is only forward facing, and does not fold like the Radian 80. Because the Radian 80 is so narrow, you can potentially put three of them side by side in the back seat. Three Regents side by side? Impossible.
