Please Advise--which car seat to choose...

My daughter will be 5 months in a couple weeks. She is a big girl and at 4 months she was already 17 lbs and 25.5 inches. I am starting to research convertible car seats as she'll probably need one soon. I have a Subaru Tribeca. Any advice as to one that would be best for such a young baby and fit my car? I thought that I would be using the SnugRide for at least a year...I have looked at some and the Britax Boulevard is the one I'm leaning towards...Any advice would be appreciated! THANK YOU!

That thread has some of the higher harness weight convertibles. also, if you can fit an infant carrier in your vehicle, you can likely fit a convertible.

As for her in the snugride, as long as she has at least 1" of hard shell above the top of her head AND she is within the weight limits, she is still fine in her carrier.
