Question small car carseat?

Okay, so we have a Toyota Echo- a very small car- and need to find a convertible car seat that will fit back there. I'm not so much worried about the space to the side of the seat, but more so about the back of the car seat hitting the front seats. Any ideas? thanks for your help in advance!

Britax allows and encourages a RF seat to be braced up against the front seat. If you got an infant seat in there, have no fear a convertible seat will fit with no problems!

If you have a TRU or BRU nearby they'll let you take seats out to your car to test fit.

Susan

We have a Focus and my husband is 6'3". We have the Britax Diplomat. Although it only goes up to 40 pounds, it fits in the back of the car great. My husband can have his seat all the way back. We love it. If you can afford to get one I would strongly suggest the Diplomat for the small cars!

Another idea is the Compass TrueFit. It has a headrest that can be taken off for smaller vehicles. When you take it off, you will only be able to RF to 22lbs...put it back on and you can RF longer. Then it will FF to 65lbs. Amazon.com: Compass True Fit Convertible Car Seat...Amazon.com: Compass True Fit Convertible Car Seat...
