Smile Britax Boulevard vs. Britax Marathon

So what is the main difference between the Britax Boulevard and Britax Marathon? Would anyone recommend one over the other?
Is the Boulevard worth the little bit more it costs?
I also have a concern for space. We have two medium sized cars and will soon have an infant seat to fit in the back seat with this convertible seat.
Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thank you

The boulevard is actually a little shorter than the Marathon. The boulevard has the side impact protection and you can adjust the harness with the turn of a knob. The Marathon, you must uninstall the seat to change the harness. Some kids do not like the "wings", side impact protection, b/c it goes on the side of their head. Parents like them b/c it is almost like a pillow to help keep their head up when they sleep! Babies r us have them both in stock...maybe try them out in your vehicle!

I was wondering if someone could tell me the difference between the Britax Roundabout and the Boulevard in safety and legroom/long lasting. I just bought the Rouindabout, because it was the highest rating in theConsumer Reports 2007 (they didn'y rate the Boulevard). But I see in the store that the Boulevard has the side impact protection. What should I do? (Please quote sources of your info please.) Thank you.

Techs in general don't give Consumer Reports much weight. They don't have techs check the installs and they've had questionable testing at times. So much so that NHTSA got involved in the Jan 2007 infant seat testing. See NHTSA's website for info on the testing they did after the flawed consumer reports testing.

The Roundabout has a shorter shell and will be outgrown earlier than the BLVD. You'll be forced to turn the child FF sooner, where as the Marathon or the BLVD will keep your child RF and safer longer. Since the roundabout only harnesses to 40 pounds, your child will out grow it sooner. My information is based on antedotal evidence from many people who have used both seats. Also common sense tells us that a seat with a wider weight and height range is going to last longer.

Susan
