Question Extended RF with Britax

I kept my daughter RF as long as I thought I could, which was to 15 months. I'd like to keep my son RF longer, bu I don't quite understand one thing...

We turned around my daughter because it seemed like the harness didn't fit right anymore with her legs bent because of length. Since the Britax harness goes over the upper leg instead of around the waist, how does that work, and have the harness properly snugged? (No matter how they squirm...)

Thanks!
Amy

MOST kiddos criss cross their legs or dangle them over the edges. i haven't really seen any issues with ERF kiddos where the straps over their laps/hips has affected it.
