Question Convertible for 3 month old?

I was hoping to get opinions on the best choice for my rather large (25.5", 17 pounds) not quite 3 month old. He's just about to outgrow his infant seat (an older snugride, going to 26"). I've been eyeing the boulevard, assuming it will fit. Are there any concerns with that considering how young he is?

We have a 2001 Prius and a 2001 Subaru Legacy.

Thank you!
Amy

The ONLY concern I would have would be IF the harness came down close enough to his shoulders. When he is RFing, you want the straps to be AT or BELOW his shoulders, BUT if they are slightly above...SLIGHTLY above, then it would be okay. Can you try him in the seat?

Also, heights listed on carseats are just guidelines. Your child will outgrow the infant carrier when there is only 1" of hard shell left above the top of his head OR when he hits the weight limit.
