Default Chevy S10 single cab and a carseat...

This will not be an every day event, but my daughter will be riding in a Chevy S10 single cab often enough to warrant buying another seat for the purpose. Help!
Vehicle: Chevy S10 2004 single cab, airbag shut off. Wont fit my Marathon RF due to handle on the dash. No LATCH
Child: 17 months old, 26lbs, and length-wise in 2T clothes.

I dont care about price tags, I care about safety and longevity. I could put another Marathon in there, but is there anything more suited for this situation?

What about a Scenera or an Uptown? I'd lean toward the Uptown only b/c it is taller than the Scenera. BUT they will only harness to 40lbs, but will RF to 35lbs

What angle are you trying to install the Marathon RF in the S-10?
You can install it as upright as 30 degrees, that should pull it plenty far away from the handle on the dash.
