| Hello. We have baby #3 on the way. We've been researching mini-vans, but would like to avoid this if possible. We currently have 2 Sunshine Kids Radian seats (that go up to 80 pounds on weight limit) in the backseat of our CRV. We have a Graco Snug Ride infant seat that would be rear facing. It is not installed in the car right now. Is this a safe scenario? Obviously I don't want to compromise on safety and wonder if this would put the car seats in an unsafe situation (too close to the doors/windows). My 3 y/o is probably just over 40 pounds, while my almost 2 y/o is somewhere between 28-30 pounds. I know buying new car seats would be a lot cheaper than buying a new car, so we are willing to do that. I do like the Radian seats. Is is safe to put one in the middle of the CR-V? The baby seat would probably need to go on the passenger side to get the carrier in and out. Any ideas out there? Thank you in advance. |
