Default Yes, 3 Seats in Honda CRV Works!

I found this site very helpful when trying to choose which seats to use to fit 3across in my Honda CRV so I wanted to post which seats I ended up using so that others will know it will work!

To fit 3 seats across I actually ended up purchasing a seat and kept my other 2 existing seats. What I now have in the back of my 2006 Honda CRV are the following seats:

3-in-1 Eddie Bauer
Graco Infant Snugride
Sunshine Kids Radian 65

We liked that the Radian has the 5 pt harness up to 65lbs and needed a really narrow seat so we ended up buy 2 of them so now have 2 Radians and the Infant Graco seat. At least now I know that when the baby moves to the next seat, we can use the existing 3-in-1 Eddie Bauer that we have.

Default GREAT news!

Love hearing that three can fit in a CRV! Its exactly what I was looking for!!! So, I'm curious. What's the configuration that you use? Radian in the middle? Graco Snugride? Once you do need to move to the rear facing convertible seat, what will you chose for that configuration? THANKS!!

Default Pathfinder or Honda Accord

We have the same dilema. We are having a 3rd child and would like to keep the current cars we have now. We have a 3 yr old a 2 yr old and soon to be an infant. I also heard Combi makes a smaller car seat but I am not to familiar with them.
We currently have Britax Marathons for each of our kids and they are huge. There is no way to fit another car seat or infant carrier in the back with these two seats.
I too would love to know your combination of using the Radian and your infant seat.

I just fit three into the second row of my '08 Toyota Highlander. The Graco Snugride is the infant seat on the right. Radian 65 in the middle, and a booster seat, the Graco Turbo I think is what it's called, on the right. I think the Radian 65 would fit on the right next to the other one just fine. But that's in a Highlander. Those Britax's are just too big. We have two Boulevards, and have loved them, though.
