Default 3 seats in a toyota matrix?

We are expecting twins and also have a toddler who will be 2.5 when they arrive. I'm guessing he'll be about 30lbs when they arrive. He is currently in a FF Britax Marathon.

We have a 2004 Toyota Matrix and I'm wondering if there is any combination of car seats that would allow us to to fit 3 across? It would initally be 2 infant seats and a convertible, then 3 convertibles. I imagine it will be a while before our oldest is ready for a booster. I'm pretty sure the Marathon will be too wide for any combination. We also have one Peg Perego Primo Viaggio infant seat (manufactured in 2007)

I'm totally up for buying new seats, if it means not buying a new car. We're just trying to figure out if this will be possible at all, so any help would be appreciated. We're in Canada, as well.

I do know that the Sunshine Kids Radian fits newborns really well and is a very narrow convertible so fitting 3 across shouldn't be a problem. It will RF to 35lbs and then FF to 65lbs (the one in Canada will only go to 65lbs..they have an 80lbs version in the states). These seats are also good for 8 years..so they could very well be the only carseats you purchase for your children. I would definitely get to a Zeller's, Canadian tire, Sears, toys r us, etc and see about trying some out. Also, contact a CRST (child restraint safety techinican) in your area to help assist you with carseat install. They may also be able to help configure/puzzle some seats in your vehicle to confirm a good fit for everyone.
