Default 3 in a 2009 Subaru Outback

I'm new to this forum, so I hope I'm posting this correctly.

We bought our first new car, a 2009 Subaru Outback that would easily fit my 6'5" hubby, tall 28 month old (approx. 34 lbs. and 39" tall), and me 5'5". Then we found out that we're having twins!

Now we need to fit 3 across. My son is currently in a monstrous convertible that needs to be replaced. From what I've read, I can put him in a slimmer booster based on his size, but I also have the convertible option. Therefore, I need to fit a FF booster or convertible and 2 RF infant seats in the back. I was going to go for a convertible for the twins, but I figured the back would stick out too far in the RF position, and my tall husband wouldn't be able to sit in the car. I've read that the Chicco KeyFit Infant Seats could serve us well, but we're still having trouble with my son's new seat. Any suggestions? We're planning on putting him in the middle.

Thank you in advance!
