Default Volvo XC wagon

from the pictures i've seen this looks nice and big inside. anyone have one? anyone know if you can fit 3 across comfortably? two older kids - a 2 yo 32 pounder and a 4 yo 38 pounder, they are both in the Evenflo Chase, and my friend who just got a Radian for her 1 yo gave me her Graco Safeseat for the baby we're expecting in April.

we've currently got a Subaru Impreza, so we will have to buy a new car to fit 3 seats without question. the Volvo has a rear-facing third row seat for the occasional extra passenger, but i'm definitely not intending to put one of my kids back there all the time, so i need to make sure i can fit them all three in the back seat easily.

any help/advice would be great. because we have to buy a new car (and we're buying used - on a tight budget) i really can't also buy new carseats, so it's better for us to pick a car we know will work (if we need a regular third row seat, we can get something other than the volvo). but i like the idea of having them all at arms reach since we seem to alway be handing things back and forth, picking up dropped toys on long car trips, etc. and we have a medium sized dog and do a good bit of traveling so having a nice big trunk when we don't need extra seating appeals to me.

thanks!

I don't have any experience with this vehicle, but you might ask @ Car Seat.Org - Carseat, Vehicle & Child Passenger Safety Forums & please do share here what you learn! Remember to add any/all carseat installation info to the database, especially if it's been checked by a CPST Good luck!
